Plantation Jamaica 1996 Single Cask 24 Year Rum 750ml

This rum matured in Jamaica for 21.5 years in former Bourbon Casks, then Ferrand let the rum mature for another two years in Casks of the Chateau de Bonbonnet in France.
Das the final finish took place for a further six months in former Rye Whiskey Casks from the New York Distilling Co.

Nose: at the beginning very fruity with aromas of ripe mangos and green bananas, paired with coconut and fresh vanilla pods 
Taste: spicy oak and almonds with vanilla and the Rye Whiskey
